K2 - Real Time Security
February 18, 2003
Are intrusion detection systems secure enough to protect our financial institutions from present-day threats? K2's Security Services Manager, Simon Bennett, will address this question at the upcoming Real TIme Security and Fraud Detection Briefing on 25 February 2003 at Thistle Tower Hotel, Tower Bridge, London.
Simon's talk will explore the generations of intrusion detection systems which preceded K2, highlighting strengths and weaknesses. He will discuss how organisations who believe that "close" is not good enough can go beyond traditional IDS to comprehensively monitor systems in real time.
The event is organised by the Computer Security Research Centre of the London School of Economics and Political Science and sponsored by Hewlett Packard. For further information visit the conference website.
