Adriaan Joubert studied Mathematics in Karlsruhe, Germany and received his Masters summa cum laude in Applied Mathematics from Twente, The Netherlands. He did research into the application of parallel computing to modelling problems at Philips, Eindhoven and received his PhD in Computational Mathematics from the University of London. Adriaan is a leading figure in the parallel processing world and has implemented much of his work in high performance parallel computing through positions at the London Parallel Applications Centre and at Albourne Partners where he was responsible for building financial models and real-time data handling.
Arrigo Triulzi studied Pure Mathematics at Imperial College in London and received a Masters Degree in Computational Mathematics from Queen Mary and Westfield College. He is currently completing his PhD in Computational Mathematics. He has lectured in mathematics and computer programming, together with delivering a series of lectures in computational physics at the ICTP in Trieste. Arrigo is a renowned figure in the security industry through his interests in network security and encryption and is also a SANS instructor in Advanced Intrusion Detection. He has held a number of positions, including High Performance Computing Manager at the London Parallel Applications Centre where he was responsible for large heterogeneous networks, and MIS manager at Albourne Partners responsible for Security, Systems and Networks.
